Making a snow Angel!
Well winter is officially here and we have had our first real snowfall! Clearly not soon enough for the dogs as they are loving it. Here is a picture of Zoey trying hard to make a snow angel. She loves it! She finds the deepest snow, rolls on her back and there you go. When the snow is deep enough, she loves to bury herself in the snow too!
Out in the snow!
Here is Sally with Auntie Stella to the left and mom Priscilla to the right. So you see that Sally just fits in with the others now and at a glance it is hard to tell she is only 8 months old! She is like her mom in so many ways, but we also see a lot of her famous daddy Kinglords Mr Magnus in her too! Priscilla and Stella are both doing great too and are enjoying the beautiful snowy day.
Sally is almost 8 months old!
Sally is really growing up and is a big beautiful puppy. She is now just about a big as the others but is still very puppyish in her ways. She stole my mitten today and thought that was great fun running in the snow with the mitten in her mouth! You can see from the photos that Sally has a beautiful face and a huge coat! She is just a sweetie too!

Time to play!
Well here is that cute little puppy at six months of age! She is all full of herself and loves to play with sticks, well mostly she just likes to carry them around and then chew them up. She is such a funny puppy and very good too! Sally is very sweet natured and loves to be with us doing whatever we do. We are having much fun with her. The other puppies of the fabulous five are all doing great and growing well!
Sally and Priscilla!
Sally is now six months and is growing and growing but still has some growing to do to be as big as Priscilla. They are so cute together and Sally is always looking up to Priscilla and asking "can I be like you too?". She has to copy whatever Prissy is doing! Too cute. Sally has that major fluff on her head and already has a gigantic coat. She is almost, but not quite, as tall as the others now, but is still such a baby in so many ways!
We are really starting to search for males for our upcoming spring litters. We are VERY excited so stay tuned!

Catching up!
Wow I can’t believe that it has been three months since my last posting. I surely have a lot of catching up to do. The pups are now five months old and are all doing great. They are all sweet and of course very beautiful. We ended up keeping ‘red girl’ and she is a real treasure. Her name is Sally! She is named after the cute little blue Porsche 911 in the movie CARS. Yes she was named by a five year old! But her name fits her quite well; she is quite the Sally. Sally is a really sweet puppy with an amazing character. She loves everyone, is very gentle and is smart too. She is growing taller now as you can see in the photo. She is very pretty. We just love her!
Priscilla is doing great and is finally starting to get some fur back, it sure does take a while. But as the weather is getting colder it is time for her to grow some fur! The rest of the crew are well and are enjoying the fall weather with lots of outside time running and playing.
We are now actively searching for males to use for our upcoming spring 2010 litters and have a few good leads on some nice male Leos but nothing certain yet. We hope to have two litters in the spring, or at least that is the plan. We are all getting excited about having puppies again! I just can't wait! First though we have to find right matches for our beautiful girls and also we have to wait until the spring comes and the winter has passed. The leaves are starting to change here so we know that winter is coming soon!
Hopefully we will we be able to upload some more pictures of the dogs and of course Sally over the winter months!

That's all for now!
Well the puppies will soon be going to their new homes so our blog will slow down for a while. We hope that you have enjoyed watching these beautiful puppies grow. We wish them all long and healthy lives with lots of love and yummy doggie treats. One of those sweet little girls will be staying here with us. We will post some pictures soon on which one she is! We will keep the blog going and post occasionally some pictures of our dogs and dogs from our kennel, but the frequency of postings will likely not be too great. Hopefully next spring, yes that is 2010, we will be blessed with one or maybe even two new litters of Leo puppies. We already can't wait for those special puppies to arrive! I am sure they will be too cute, just like these special puppies! So stay tuned and we hope you will join us back next year for our new puppy adventures!
The fabulous five are eight weeks old!
The puppies had another great week. They have been exploring the big world and have started going for daily walks down the lane way. They wonder what new adventures are coming their way? The puppies have had a number of visitors this week and are always ready for new friends to come and play with them. They have been playing with all the older dogs too and think that is quite the treat! The puppies are pictured again from top to bottom red girl, pink girl, yellow girl, green boy and purple boy!

The puppies are growing up!
The puppies are sure growing up. They are now developing their little personalities and becoming real individuals. Red girl is sweet and quiet, pink girl loves to climb up on the chairs and is spunky and fun, yellow girl is very silly and loves to chew on her plastic toys, green boy is a little more regal and loves the kids and purple just loves everything and is very funny! They are all wonderful puppies, we sure are going to miss them when they go to their new homes.

Mud mud and more mud!
The weather we have been having has been rainy, hot and so humid, it feels almost like living in a rain forest. The puppies don't like the heat at all and their ten little front paws, plus mom's big two front paws are very effective at digging up the grass to find the nice cool mud underneath! Of course where the puppies go my littlest helper follows, so she is also found playing in the mud!

The fur is flying!
When puppies are about 6 to 8 weeks old their moms start to lose their fur, and I don't mean just a little, but big clumps of fur come out until they look like a short coated breed! Priscilla is just starting this and you can see some clumps of fur coming off her. There is a little tuft right by her foot. This is normal and a response to having the puppies, but the moms do look quite unsightly for a while! So next time mom Priscilla is in a photo she might not have so much fur!
Get ready get set and go!
The puppies are getting faster everyday. They can now easily outrun my littlest helper. They are quite happy to chase the kids around the puppy yard, but you have to be careful or they will get under your feet and trip you! My big helper can still outrun them, but not for long! Soon they will be even faster than he is.

Puppy are you hungry?
After the puppies had finished their lunch, my little helper thought they might need some more. Pinky was having a little nap while the other pups were still hanging out near the food bowls. So the events that took place next are as follows:
Photo 1 - I'll take that please, pinky might need some more dinner.
Photo 2 - Here I come pinky.
Photo 3 - Here you go pinky have some yummy food.
Photo 4 - Okay then, I'll show you how to get the food from the bowl.
Photo 5 - Well if that doesn't work I guess I'll just have to feed you one piece of kibble at a time!
Too cute!
