Good news and bad news.

Well we have good news and bad news. The good news is that Priscilla is pregnant!!!! We are so EXCITED! The ultrasound showed quite a number of puppies so we are hopeful that she will have a nice large litter. The pups are due around May 1. The bad news is that we didn't see any puppies with Holly, so it looks like she isn't pregnant this time. We are so disappointed, but hopefully we will be able to try our luck with Holly next year.

Drum Roll .... Wanderweg’s Four Leaf Clover takes BPIG!!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited to share the news that Caoimhe went Best Puppy in Group at the Cobequid Dog Show in Truro NS! What a huge win and Caoimhe is the first Leonberger puppy to win a BPIG in Atlantic Canada! This was just her second show so we have high hopes for her in the show ring! Caoimhe is a pup from Priscilla's first litter with Jefferson! The official show photo will be posted when we receive it but for now here she is playing in the snow!

Pretty Mya.

Mya was also out in the snow today enjoying herself. She was of course looking beautiful as always! Mya is the Princess of the household.

Holly and Prissy enjoying the wind.

The Leo girls love to put their noses into the wind and feel the cold air! The moms to be are still keeping everything a secret. Just a few more days and we will know if puppies are coming!

Snow and more snow.

Just when we thought spring might be coming we got another snow storm! The dogs are enjoying the fresh white winter wonderland. They love to play in the snow!

Wanderweg's Free Spirit (Barr) went to his first dog show and did a great job! He is a very big boy and is pictured at 10 months old! He is a pup from Priscilla's first litter with Jefferson.

One more week!

We have one more week to wait until we find out whether the girls are pregnant. We will be doing ultrasounds on both of them near the end of next week. They are both keeping things a big secret and haven't told us anything! Stay tuned until next week and fingers crossed!

A sweet 9 week old Leo pup.

The first posting.

This blog is being started to hopefully follow our upcoming litters of spring puppies.  Both Holly and Priscilla were bred a few weeks ago so now we are waiting to see if either or both will have some beautiful puppies.  We are so excited to have puppies in the house again - how cute will they be!
